Committed to Food Safety and Quality

Head of National Quality Food Safety

At GAR, we are hands-on when it comes to food safety and quality. We take ownership across the entire value chain, because getting it right isn’t optional. In 2025, that focus delivered real results, with zero food safety incidents or recalls across our downstream operations.

One of our biggest priorities was tackling contamination risks head-on. We launched our “zero foreign bodies” campaign with a clear ambition: zero defects and zero compromise. This is about moving GAR beyond compliance and building a culture where quality is non-negotiable.

At the same time, we are staying ahead of emerging risks, particularly around contaminants like MOSH and MOAH. Even without clear regulation, we are already acting, working closely with our customers to anticipate expectations and deliver with confidence.

For us, food safety runs through our entire supply chain. We hold ourselves to the highest standards, and we expect the same from our partners. That means rigorous supplier audits, clear accountability, and a shared commitment to a zero-complaints mindset.

We are also accelerating the use of technology to strengthen our controls, from AI tools that track regulatory changes to vision systems that detect even the smallest defects on our lines.

Our ambition is clear: to be world-class in food safety and quality. Because that’s what our customers expect, and it’s what we demand of ourselves.

“Ensuring safe, high‑quality food is a shared responsibility. At Golden Agri‑Resources, we embed rigorous food safety standards throughout our value chain as part of our commitment to sustainable and responsible business.”
